Meet Joe
Candidate for Assembly District 35
I was born and raised in Las Vegas, where my parents moved from St. Louis to find better work opportunities and start their family. They taught me and my sister the importance of standing up for others and always following the golden rule.
I graduated from Cimarron-Memorial High School and then worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, but I found his true calling as a union leader, where I stands up for those most in need—just like my mother taught.
Today, I live in southwest Las Vegas with my wife and three sons. I’ve spent 15 years as a Culinary Union member and leader, fighting for Nevada workers from the picket line to the negotiating table. I knows how to fight for working Nevadans—and, most importantly, how to win.
As a union leader, I fought on behalf of workers for better pay, benefits, and safer working conditions. But too many hardworking people are struggling; they deserve a fighter in the legislature. I am running to win Nevada workers the fair deal they deserve.
